Careers

Berlin EMS Inc. is always on the lookout for new providers.
We offer competitive pay with benefits including health insurance and retirement funds, in an area with a very low cost of living.
We are located in a great area for outdoor recreation, with ski areas less than 30 minutes away. The North Country of New Hampshire has much to offer by way of outdoor recreation all year round. From hiking the White Mountains in the summer to snowmobiling in the winter, this is definitely the area of choice if you enjoy outdoor activities. The beautiful mountains definitely come alive with color during the autumn season.
Our employees work 24-hour shifts, on a rotating schedule that provides four days off out of every eight. Usually two employees are on duty at our base of operations per shift, with the occasional third rider for training or educational purposes. In addition, there are always two employees who are scheduled to be "on call." If the crew who are on duty require additional assistance, the on call employees get phoned in by the area dispatcher. Also, on call personnel are required to take any patients who are in need of care at an out of town facility to the facility of their choice.
We hire National Registered EMTs at the Basic, Intermediate, and Paramedic Levels. The state of New Hampshire recognizes those who are Nationally Registered only. If your state has a state only registry, you will be required to take the National Registry exam in order to practice in our state. Berlin Emergency Medical Services will be more than happy to assist you with scheduling the exam and compensate for any fees involved in this testing procedure if you are coming to work for us.
